Luo Jianyou, the number one badminton men's singles in my country, lost to Shi Yuqi, the top seed from China, 18-21, 16-21 on Friday (March 14), and missed the semi-finals of the All England Championship (Super 1000).

Although Luo Jianyou approached the score several times in the first game, he still could not eliminate the disadvantage and lost 18 to 21. The battle between the two sides was fierce in the second game, and the score difference was always close, but Luo Jianyou's defense had a loophole at the end of the game, and he finally lost 16-21. Luo Jianyou also scratched his knees in defense and sprinkled blood on the field.

Luo Jianyou encountered a first round of tournament in 2022 and 2023, and this year was the farthest he went in the All England Championship. This is the second time the two have fought since October 2023. Before this game, Luo Jianyou was at a disadvantage with two wins and three losses in the match against Shi Yuqi.

Shi Yuqi's opponent in the semi-finals will be Li Shifeng, the No. 6 seed, also from China. Li Shifeng easily defeated the famous Indian star Lakshya Sen 21-10 and 21-16.
