While her boyfriend was drinking, a 24-year-old woman without a driver's license stole her boyfriend's car, but she hit a motorcycle and continued driving, causing the police to come to arrest her. She was sentenced to four weeks in jail on the afternoon of Thursday (13th), fined 2,600 yuan, and could not get a driver's license for 30 months.
The accident occurred at 11:36 pm on July 31 last year at the junction of Marsiling Rise and Woodlands 5.
The defendant is 24-year-old Yang Yulin (transliteration), facing six charges against the Highway Traffic Act and the Vehicle (Third Party Risk and Compensation) Act.
The case shows that the defendant was driving at the junction of the incident and when he turned right into Woodlands Road 5, he hit the rear of an electric motorcycle.
The defendant did not stop the car after the accident, but continued to drive forward, and she also ran into multiple water barriers when she turned right.
