The statement stated that this mutton dish was independently purchased by Chaodao and supplied by Zhengzhou Senang Trading Co., Ltd. The manufacturer is Jiuzhouyuan Food Processing Factory, Chaoyang Township, Shuangcheng District, Harbin City. After receiving the feedback, Chaodao immediately urged the supplier to carry out self-examination.

In addition to Chaodao, Banu also responded to this on the 6th. Banu said that Chaodao is indeed a sub-brand of Banu Group and has been operated by an independent team since its establishment.

Banu said that the Banu Group has an unshirkable responsibility for the supervision and management of Chaodao. “The feedback from the blogger this time makes us realize that there may be some problems in our supervision of Chaodao. It is also understood that, as a food counterfeiting blogger, in August this year, “Monkey King” posted a video on social networks saying that Malatang brand Zhang Liang Malatang “hangs mutton and sells pork and duck meat”. The video content shows that he bought 3 boxes of mutton at a price of 18 yuan per box at Zhang Liang Malatang No. 1 store, but after the inspection, it was detected that there were pig and duck ingredients in it.

Later, Zhang Liang Malatang responded to the matter, saying that the franchise store involved purchased mutton rolls totaling 20 catties in three batches at a price of 25 yuan per catty in July and sold them. According to the inspection report of the authoritative department, pork ingredients were detected in the mutton rolls, but these “mutton rolls” were purchased privately by the store and were not distributed by designated suppliers.
