China’s southern region has entered the flood season and is expected to see persistent heavy rains in the coming days, announced the disaster control authorities on Sunday.
According to a video meeting held by the Office of State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management, this round of torrential rainfall, which has affected large areas over the past few days, has triggered severe floods and disasters in some areas.
