Silver for Hong Kong!

Siobhan Haughey made history by securing the city’s first ever Olympic medal in swimming, finishing second to Australia’s Ariarne Titmus in the women’s 200m freestyle at Tokyo 2020.

The 23-year-old finished in 1:53.92 behind Titmus (1:53.61), setting a new personal best.

Some 18 years on from stepping into the pool at the South China Athletic Association, Haughey is an Olympic silver medallist.
