The plateau wind power base with the largest installed capacity in China on Monday was put into operation at its full capacity, in southwest China‘s Yunnan Province. The project has a total installed capacity of 800 megawatts and an annual on-grid electricity capacity of 2.6 billion kWh. Located in the plateau area with an altitude of more than 2,000 meters, the project includes 135 wind turbines.
