Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Paris Sunday night, extending a tour of European capitals to solicit support in the conflict with Russia.
Zelenskyy held talks over dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss Ukraine’s “urgent needs.”
Earlier in the day, Zelenskyy was in Germany where he received the Charlemagne Prize for service to European unification. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also announced a $3 billion military aid package for Ukraine.
On Saturday, Zelenskyy visited Rome and received pledges of support from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
He also met with Pope Francis at the Vatican.
