On the eighth day of the Chinese New Year, a pair of stray kittens, Li Hua and her sister, had just undergone spaying surgery at the hospital. As they were recovering, a fluffy Persian cat caught the attention of the nurse, who jokingly said, “You’ve never had a long-haired cat, have you?” Little did she know that the nurse had actually had experience with long-haired cats. The next day, a beautiful Persian cat appeared in the hospital courtyard. The nurse was surprised to see the cat’s condition – its fur was matted and dirty, and it looked like it had been wandering the streets for a long time.
The nurse, who had grown fond of the kittens, decided to take the Persian cat in and give it a bath. After a good scrub, the cat’s fur was transformed, and it looked like a completely different animal. The nurse then gave the cat a trim, and it was amazing to see the cat’s personality change. It went from being timid and scared to playful and affectionate.
The nurse named the cat “Jiāo” (meaning “little one” in Chinese) and took care of it until it was healthy and happy. The transformation of Jiāo from a stray cat to a beloved pet was a heartwarming experience for everyone involved.
