January is all about new beginnings, and our wish kids know firsthand that a wish can feel like the closing of one chapter and the start of something new! For wish kid Dallas, his wish to visit Avengers Campus in Disney’s California Adventure Park made him feel like a real-life superhero. 🦸♂️🕸️
Dallas said his favorite part of the trip was getting to meet Spiderman, shake his hand, and watch the live show where he does flips and “cool Spiderman tricks.” Dallas’ mom, Johneatha, said she was surprised by how much of a daredevil Dallas was, saying he wanted to go on the scariest rides over and over.
“Thank you for giving this joy to my son. He lost so much confidence in himself after battling brain cancer,” said Dallas’ mom. “This trip showed us what it is to be happy again after a very traumatic year.”
Dallas is now over one year of being cancer-free! His wish gave him the chance for a fresh start, to meet the hero who helped him during treatment, and to step into his inner hero that has been there all along. 💙🌟
