Improper male patient medical staff for 15 months

Male medical staff was convicted of molesting male patients with lower body. The judge accused the defendant of abuse of his duties as a medical staff and committed misconduct and sentenced him to 15 months in prison.

The defendant is Danisha Nur Delisa Dewa, a 36-year-old man with shoulder-length hair and dressed in a feminine manner. He was charged with one offence but pleaded not guilty. After trial, the defendant was found guilty and sentenced to 15 months in jail.

According to earlier reports, the defendant was accused of pressing the left testicle of a 23-year-old male patient three times at Huang Tingfang Hospital on January 27, 2023. The defendant was the hospital's basic medical assistant at the time of the incident.

The prosecution claimed that the defendant had a normal medical procedure on the grounds of checking vital signs and was inappropriate for male patients. The prosecution accused the defendant of pulling the curtain and asking the victim if he had worn underwear to test the victim's reaction. He then molested him, saying that it was to detect the pain, which was one of the medical procedures.

However, the defendant said that he did not pull the curtain, lift the surgical gown worn by the victim, and did not press his testicles three times. The defendant claimed that the victim “discriminates against homosexuality” because he was homosexual.

The judge ruled that the defendant was found guilty, and the prosecution and defense followed up with sentences.

The prosecution claimed that the defendant planned to commit a case, went to check the victim's vital signs without reason, and lifted up the surgical gown he was wearing without checking whether he was wearing underwear.

The prosecution also said that the defendant betrayed the patient's trust in the medical staff, making the victim mistakenly think that what he did was really one of the medical procedures. It was not until after asking the nurse that he suddenly realized.

The defendant also asked whether it was painful to cover up his crime, which scared the victim and felt ashamed of mentioning it. The prosecution therefore suggested that the judge sentence the defendant to 15 to 18 months in prison.

The judge finally sentenced the defendant to 15 months in jail.
