Facebook fake Lianhe Zaobao account again, please don't be fooled

Several fake Lianhe Zaobao accounts appeared on Facebook, inducing users to click on the link to buy watches at super low prices. Lianhe Zaobao has reported the matter to Meta and reminded the public not to be fooled.

A reader reported on Thursday (March 13) that he saw another fake account of Lianhe Zaobao on Facebook, and the account was just established and there were no fans. A post posted by this fake account claims that you can buy watches at super low discounts by clicking on the link.

The account avatar stolen the logo of Lianhe Zaobao and forged Facebook's blue hook certification mark. The name of the account seems to be the same as that of Lianhe Zaobao, but the English letter “a” is replaced by “ɑ”, and there are no other news posts on the page. There is no activity in the morning newspaper selling tables.

Lianhe Zaobao has reported a fake page to Facebook. Although the page has been removed, it may appear again.

Lianhe Zaobao asks readers to pay attention to discernment and do not easily click links of unknown origin to prevent being deceived.
