The police confirmed that they had received a report in the bullying incident at Mengfu Middle School and had intervened in the investigation.

A video circulated on social media since last Saturday (February 22) showing a group of male students wearing Montfort Secondary School uniforms chasing him all the way after seeing another male student on campus. Go to the school cafeteria. Then, two of the students deliberately kept pushing and tripping the victim down and kicking him in the back with a cheer from his companion. The male student who was bullied endured silently throughout the whole process, and did not even dare to have eye contact with others, so he could only walk away without saying a word.

After the video was widely circulated, many parents expressed sympathy for the boys, believing that the school should take disciplinary measures against bullies.

When responding to the enquiry by Lianhe Zaobao, the Singapore Police Force confirmed that the police received a report of the incident and the investigation was underway.

Zheng Ruijie, vice principal of Mengfu Middle School, responded to the Lianhe Zaobao inquiry on Sunday (23rd), confirmed that the school was aware of the recent bullying incident.
