It was not until around 7 a.m. when the boss came to the factory to do business, he found that black smoke was coming out of the exhaust pipes in the kitchen, so he hurriedly called three nearby people to help put out the fire. The employee revealed that black smoke was constantly discharged from the exhaust port at a high place. They found a ladder at that time, and one person helped to hold the ladder, while the other two used water pipes and fire extinguishers to try their best to extinguish the fire.

Zhang Lirong (43), who works in a factory next to him, said in an interview: “At 8 a.m., we found thick black smoke floating into our kitchen, which was very choking.”

According to the reporter's observation, after the fire broke out, the factory employees were evacuated, the sprinkler was also operating, and the factory was pitch black. When inquired, the Civil Defense Force confirmed that the fire involved the kitchen exhaust pipe (Kitchen Exhaust Ducting) of a unit on the third floor, and had used a sprinkler and a fire water pipe to extinguish the fire. No one was injured in the accident and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
