Luo Jianyou, the “No. 1” male singles in my country, lost to Danish player An Sailon in the final of the German Badminton Open (Super 300), on Sunday (March 2), local time, and ranked second.
Luo Jianyou scored seven points in the first game at the beginning, but An Sailong surpassed the score with his steady defense, while Luo Jianyou, who made the mistakes gradually increased, could not resist losing the first game 19-21.
In the second game, Luo Jianyou lost six points even after coming up, and An Sailong quickly got the match point. Luo Jianyou chased points continuously against the match point, but still lost 18-21.
In the semi-finals, Luo Jianyou easily defeated Japanese player Takahashi and entered the finals. In the rematch, he defeated “junior brother” Zheng Jiaheng, and in the round of 16, he defeated his childhood doubles partner and Penang fellow villager Zhan Junwei to advance.
This is Luo Jianyou's finals again after winning the Spanish Masters (Super 300) in March last year. This is also his 13th time with Anselon.
