He was suspected of sexually assaulting a girl under 16 years old at home, in a luxury hotel, or even in a hospital many times. Afterwards, he instructed the girl to cry and beg her mother not to charge him. The former TV artist intends to plead guilty.

After the former TV artist's case was heard in the national court on Tuesday morning (March 4), the Criminal Case Prosecution and Management System (ICMS) updated the information, showing that his case was extended until May 5, and he was asked to plead guilty.

The former TV artist was charged with six counts of sexual assault on a minor girl, one count of resisting the Prevention of Harassment Act, and one count of obstructing justice.

To protect the girl, the judge ordered the media not to report any information that would reveal the girl's identity, including the name of a former TV artist.

According to the charge, the defendant allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old girl at least six times in June 2024, including the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Elizabeth Novena Hospital, and his residence.

The defendant was accused of instructing the girl to cry in front of her mother in August 2024, telling her mother that she did not want the defendant to go to jail or be charged; she intentionally obstructed judicial evidence.

The defendant was also accused of harassing the girl many times in September 2024, including calling the girl 18 times on the same day, sending text messages to the other party, and logging into the girl’s virtual room on the National K-Singing Platform.

The defendant and the girl were in a relationship when the incident occurred. The defendant is currently on bail on 20,000 yuan.

If a sexual assault on a girl under the age of 16 is convicted, the offender may be sentenced to jail for up to 10 years, a fine, or both; if an obstruction of judicial justice is convicted, he may be sentenced to jail for up to seven years, a fine, or both; if a violation of the Prevention of Harassment Act, he may be sentenced to jail for up to one year, a fine of up to 5,000 yuan, or both.
