Defense Minister Dr. Wong Yonghong went to Auckland, New Zealand to attend the 4th Singapore-New Zealand Defense Ministers' Meeting on Saturday (March 8) until next Tuesday (11th).
The meeting was co-chaired by Huang Yonghong and New Zealand Defense Minister Judith Collins, and the two will discuss regional security affairs and bilateral defense cooperation. Huang Yonghong will also meet with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon during this trip.
Xinxin and Xin established a bilateral defense ministers meeting mechanism in 2017, demonstrating their commitment to deepening defense relations. This time, senior officials of the Ministry of National Defense were accompanied. The last time this conference was held in November 2019, before the outbreak of the coronavirus outbreak, was hosted in our country.
