To better support children's development needs, starting from May this year, parents can use the child's cultivation account to pay extra fees for their children's preschool centers, including on-campus gain courses such as speech and drama, robotics and programming.

Sun Xueling, Minister of Government of the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Social and Family Development, said on Monday (March 10) that the government made this adjustment to more effectively cater to local families.

Currently, the amount of children's training account can be used to pay the fees of accredited institutions such as nurseries, kindergartens, hospitals and clinics. The account will be automatically closed when the child is 12 years old, and the amount will be transferred to the Post-Secondary Education Account (Post-Secondary Education Account).

Each Singaporean child can receive a starting allowance of RMB 5,000 as long as his parents open a child training account for them.

For children born on February 18 this year, as long as they have a third child or more, the starting allowance will double to 10,000 yuan. The child cultivation account can be used to pay for preschool education and medical expenses.
