The first five Para Sports Community Hubs (PSCHs) have been established, located in Baisha, Bedok, Jurong West, Yang Chugang and Hongshan, including facilities such as swimming pools, table tennis and badminton courts.

Cai Ruilong, the Ministry of Social and Family Development and Senior Deputy Governance of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, announced the news Monday (March 10) when the Congressional Appropriations Committee debated the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth expenditure budget.

The Disability Sports Activity Center Program aims to expand opportunities for disabled people to participate in sports, covering everything from recreational sports to high-level competition. Currently, five activity centers have been established, namely Baisha Sports Centre (hard-ground rolling ball), Bedok's Heart Building (swimming and table tennis), Jurong West Sports Centre (swimming and disabled cycling), Yang Chugang Sports Centre (track and field and badminton) and Rieter Sports Centre (blind goal ball).

“We have set up five event centers and plans to expand further. These event centers are specially set up at the ActiveSG Sports Center, allowing people with disabilities and the public to participate in sports activities in the same space. I heard that such arrangements give people with disabilities the opportunity to build friendships with the public, and that is exactly the integration and inclusion we want to see!”

Cai Ruilong also announced that the Enabling Sports Fund is planned to be launched in the second half of 2025 and will raise RMB 10 million in 2030 to support various sports activities with disabilities, including initiated by individuals, groups or organizations.
