Thanks to the rising revenue of medical equipment business, VicPlas International's net profit in the first half of fiscal year 2025 increased by 9.4% year-on-year to 245,000 yuan; revenue rose by 6.4% year-on-year to 54.3 million yuan.

Weibaiyi International released its half-year performance report as of January 31, 2025 on Thursday (March 13), pointing out that due to the increase in orders of some customers, the performance of the medical equipment business improved, and its revenue increased by 10.5% year-on-year to 35 million yuan. Despite this, the business is still affected by the expansion of the Changzhou factory, the cost of business expansion and the costs related to the start of the New Mexico factory.

Walter Tarca, president of Weibaiyi International, expects revenue from the medical equipment sector to grow further as Mexican factories start to generate revenue in the second half of the year.

As for the pipeline and pipe fittings business, it continues to benefit from strong activities in my country's built environment, especially in housing and civil engineering projects. However, due to the cautious sales strategy of Weibaiyi International's business and focusing on credit risk management, its revenue fell slightly by 0.4% year-on-year to 19.3 million yuan.

The group's earnings per share in the first half of the year was 0.05 points, and as of January 31, the net asset value per share was 14.64 points.
