As we live in the alley behind the association, we often see stray cats scurrying around. One cat in particular, named Bin Bin, caught our attention. At first, he would hide whenever we approached, but over time, he began to trust us. We would leave food and warm blankets for him, and eventually, he started to stay near our doorstep.
However, in the early part of the year, we noticed that Bin Bin seemed to be ill. As he grew closer to us, we realized that he must have been suffering from a health issue. We set traps to catch him and take him to the doctor, but unfortunately, it was too late. The vet diagnosed him with a severe infection and multiple myeloma, a type of cancer that had spread to his organs.
We were devastated and wanted to do everything we could to save Bin Bin. However, the medical bills were high, and we needed help to cover the costs. We are reaching out to our friends and supporters to ask for a contribution of NT$500 each to help cover the remaining medical expenses.
