球會一直多方面支持本地慈善機構，鼓勵回饋社會各界，而我們於上月底贊助了 #香港導盲犬服務中心 之首次粵劇慈善籌款活動，由粵劇名伶王志良及林穎施擔綱演出經典劇目「再世紅梅記」，籌得之善款將作為免費導盲犬配對及跟進服務之經費。🐶

活動深受廣泛支持， #鄉議局 亦免費借出位於沙田石門之新界鄉議局大樓大劇院作為活動場地。當日邀請到多位主禮嘉賓出席活動，包括署理發展局首席助理秘書長(規劃及地政)張文欣女士、行政會議成員高永文醫生、前助理廣播處長張文新先生等，並邀請了著名電台主持車淑梅小姐擔任大會主持。

活動亦邀請約一千名長者免費觀賞，這場充滿本地粵劇文化的演出實在非常精彩，極具水準！👍🏻

While an active promoter of sporting events in Hong Kong year-round, we also get involved in cultural activities too! Last month we were a supporting sponsor of the inaugural charity Cantonese opera performance, The Second Life of the Red Plum, organised by the Hong Kong Seeing Eye Dog Services. This meaningful event, headlined by renowned Cantonese opera stars Mr Wang Zhi-liang and Ms Lin Ying-shi, was held to raise funds for the organisation’s free guide dog matching and follow-up services.🐶

The performance received overwhelming support, attracting a distinguished audience to the Grand Theatre at the New Territories Heung Yee Kuk Building in Shek Mun, Shatin, which had been kindly provided on a complimentary basis. Among the attendees were Ms German Cheung, Acting Principal Assistant Secretary (Planning) of the Development Bureau; Dr Ko Wing-man, Executive Council member; Mr Cheung Man Sun, former Assistant Director of Broadcasting; and the host, renowned DJ Candy Chea.

With over a thousand tickets given away to seniors to enjoy the show, the event provided an enchanting performance that celebrated the timeless beauty of Cantonese opera. A remarkable day of local culture and artistic excellence!👍🏻
