A 23-year-old Indonesian man was arrested for suspected exposing his lower body to a flight attendant and will be charged in court next Wednesday (March 12).
Singapore Police Force issued a statement on Saturday (8th) saying that the police received a report on January 23, saying that a man was suspected of exposing his lower body to the flight attendant on a passenger plane flying to Singapore.
The investigation showed that the man first unzipped the seat, exposed his lower body, and then covered it with a blanket. He then set his phone to video mode and took off the blanket while waiting for a flight attendant to approach and prepare for delivery.
The flight attendant quickly left and quickly informed the boss of the incident. After the passenger plane flew to Changi Airport, the investigators from the airport police station arrested the man involved and seized his cell phone to assist in the investigation.
The man is charged in court next Wednesday. According to Section 377BF of the Criminal Code, sexual exposure may be subject to a maximum of one year in prison, a fine, or both.
