The operation is part of a joint police crackdown on illegal and criminal activities from March 5 to 8. With the cooperation of the Dongling Police Department, Housing and Development Bureau and Immigration and Checkpoints Bureau. Law enforcement officers carried out operations in Toa Payoh, Novena, Bukit Timah, Orchard Road, Maristal Road and Seriki Road. A total of 62 men and women aged 18 to 73 were arrested and investigated for violating different laws.

After the criminal gang rented a villa, they placed a gambling table in the living room on the second floor. A professional team operated a “small casino” and mainly operated a mahjong game “Tongjiu”, which was popular in China, and collected commissions from it.
It is reported that the minimum bet amount for a bet of up to 10,000 yuan.
