Red Dot Concentrators are interested in competing for the sixth constituency and have found more than 20 potential candidates

The Red Dot Concentrators of three five-person constituencies and three single constituencies have been selected, and they have been given training since the beginning of last year to prepare for the next general election. This group of candidates includes industry leaders, scholars, professionals from various fields, etc.

The Red Dot Concentric Party held a Ramadan porridge event in Bukit Batu Dong on the afternoon of Saturday (March 15). Party Secretary-General Ravi later pointed out in an interview that they originally expected the general election to be held in September last year, so they began preparations as early as October 2023 to invite members to apply to become candidates and to be interviewed.

More than 20 people selected from it began to receive training in February last year, including personal appearance, professional image, and familiarity with the policies and brand image of the Red Dot Concentric Party.

“Many outstanding talents have joined us, including industry leaders, scholars, professionals from different fields. We believe that in the fight against the People's Action Party, we have the opportunity to compete.”

After the review report of the constituency scope of the Red Dot Concentration Party was announced on Tuesday (11th), it announced that it is interested in running for the Jurong East-Bukit Batoshi Constituency, Yishun Constituency, Tanjong Pagar Constituency, Jurong Central, Jalan Gay, and Latin Mass. This means that the Red Dot Concentric Party must have at least 18 candidates.

In the last general election, the Red Dot, which had just been established for three weeks, competed for the Jurong Grocery Constituency, challenging the People's Action Party team led by President Shandaman, then the Minister of State Counsel and Social Policy Coordination, but ultimately lost to the election with a vote of 25.39%.

During the Red Dot Concentrate Party’s porridge event, it coincided with the Jurong Grocery Constituency Councillor, the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and the Minister of Health, Rahayu attended the community Ramadan Month porridge event at the same location. Rahayu is responsible for grassroots affairs in Bukit Batu East.

When Rahayu met with Ravi, he greeted each other and shook hands, and exchanged porridge prepared for the residents. The atmosphere was warm and friendly.

In an interview, Rahayu said that all political parties have the right to contact voters, and it is not surprising that the Red Dot Concentrator continues to be active in this district after competing for the Jurong Gather Constituency in the last general election.

Ravi also pointed out that this was not the first time he had contacted Rahayu. In the past five years, they have communicated many times on municipal meeting issues, transportation issues and other matters.

“Our conversation has been very friendly and the topics discussed have always revolved around how to improve the lives of residents,” he said.
