Oracle launched its new AI Excellence Centre in Singapore to support the company's goal of last year to train 10,000 students or professionals in Singapore within two years, giving them the latest digital skills and providing businesses with a secure cloud space, allowing them to begin experimenting with innovative technologies in the initial stages to solve the challenges of their industry.

Oracle introduced this center of excellence in artificial intelligence at the Cloud Technology World Tour Singapore event on Thursday (March 13). As the guest of honor, Dr. Chen Shilong, Minister of Human Resources and Second Minister of Trade and Industry, participated in the keynote fireside dialogue.

He believes: “To remain competitive in Singapore, we need to build a keen and resilient workforce to ensure that people can effectively utilize emerging technologies.”

This AI Center of Excellence will be aimed at the Southeast Asian market and aims to provide an environment equipped with the latest cloud technologies and artificial intelligence. It provides training and experiments for enterprises through digital and entity to help them transform and quickly implement predictive, generative, and agentic artificial intelligence.

“This is not only the superficial skill of waving hands and showing slides, but it is actually promoting the use of artificial intelligence,” said Garrett Ilg, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Japan and Asia Pacific.
